The ABC International School is a family owned school based in the South of the city. It has now been in operation for more than  25 years and currently has approximately 800 students. We are equally proud of the student centred focus that our family heritage encourages and the outstanding academic achievements that are a product of this.

Our key objective is to ensure students meet their full potential both personally and academically. It is a well recognised fact that it is only when children are safe, secure and happy that they can truly reach their potential.

The ABC International School caters for students from age 2-18 and we have three campuses (Early Years, Primary and Secondary) to serve their needs. All are well resourced and contain bespoke facilities for each particular age group of students. The English National Curriculum is followed throughout the school: The Early Years Programme affords solid foundations in Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception and is then followed by Key Stages 1 to 3 for pupils up to the age of 14 years; IGCSEs are then offered in Key Stage 4 (up to 16 years). The most senior students complete their time at the ABCIS by studying for International AS and A Levels at the end of Key Stage 5 (18 years). Our external exam results are amongst the best in the world and students from the ABCIS often achieve International Learner Awards from Cambridge Assessment for their exceptional performance. Over the last few years ABCIS has been awarded more of these awards than any other school in Vietnam.

The English Curriculum is one that is both recognized and respected world-wide and our graduating students leave us to study at leading institutions all over the world. Every year we have students go on to study in the UK, the US, Korea, Canada, Australia and other Asian and European destinations. The International A Levels really are a passport to go on and study anywhere.

In addition to academics, we offer a school-wide and age appropriate range of extra-curricular activities such as MUN, the International Award, the Global Issues Network, Jump-Jam, Construction Club and a multitude of sporting, musical and other opportunities. We encourage all students to make use of these to help develop their social, communication and leadership skills.

The school is accredited by both Cambridge Assessment and AQA and is a member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools) and FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia). The school has had two BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspections, the most recent in January 2020, and was graded “Outstanding” on both occasions.

It is important to us that the students meet their potential whilst at ABCIS and also have the skills and knowledge required to continue to be successful, whatever path they may wish to follow in the future.
