Word Search Puzzle
Children will be solving a range of brain teasing puzzles which will help to develop an alert and active mind. Aims:
• Get the children to be familiar with the vocabularies which are going to taught in writing, pronunciation and expand their new words meanings.
• Give solvers a reasonable chance of finishing the puzzles. Therefore, Crosswords are battles involving weapons of wit, intellect, logic and humor.
• Each puzzle is an opportunity to practice speed and accuracy, where members can learn new words and their spellings by intensively searching for them, letter by letter in the puzzle.
• It’s all in good fun, good mental workout. It’s both entertaining and relaxing.

Origami
This Origami club aims to release the children’s creative instincts using a range of origami paper designs.

Football
This club will aim to improve children’s football skills such as co-ordination, control and team working skills and promote the enjoyment of team based sports.

Chess and Draughts Club
Children will play games together learning a range of social skills as well as how to play the classic games of Chess and Draughts.

Construction Club
Construction Club aims to improve fine motor skills and to encourage creativity. The children will plan and create a variety of projects, reflective of their interests – for example, craft construction, painting, and various buildings with brick/plasticine.

Art Club
This club is about creativity. You will have the change to explore a range of art mediums and develop your skills in this creative subject.

Scrabble
This is a fun and competitive way to improve students’ vocabulary and spelling and basic Numeracy. Younger students play against the older ones in order to widen their vocabulary and give the older students an opportunity to mentor them in a natural way.

Glee Club
Children will learn a variety of songs and dances during this club, covering a wide range of musical genres and cultures. As well as providing a good opportunity to exercise, it also builds self-esteem and confidence whilst encouraging children’s creativity and sense of fun!

Ballet *
This ballet club is run at our school by a professional dance instructor working for a dance school in Ho Chi Minh City. Students well develop their classical ballet skills. They will perform a number of types of ballet dance moves and learn how to stand and move with grace and beauty.

This Kung Fu club is run at our school by a professional instructors working Ho Chi Minh City. Students well develop their basic Kung Fu moves and learn how to fight and train in this traditional form of martial art.

Chess and Draughts Club
Children will play games together learning a range of social skills as well as how to play the classic games of Chess and Draughts

Library Club
This library club is a chance for book lovers to enjoying reading some of the wonderful books the school library has to offer. Children can enjoy reading in the relaxing and quite library and discover the wonders that are lying between the pages of the books.

Sewing
In the Sewing ECA, the students learn how to use paper patterns when making a soft toy or cushion. Usually, they start by making an elephant or gecko. They learn how to pin material together and how to do basic sewing stitches. They also learn how to sew on buttons. They also learn to find solutions to problems they encounter. Once they have these skills, the students are able to use these skills to make their own designs and ideas.

Balloon Twisting
In Balloon Twisting the children will create animal balloons with the help of a experienced expert. They will develop skills to make them brilliant clowns of balloon twisting.

Football
This is for football players who are looking to play in the school teams and improve their skills. Small fun games shall be played which then lead into a full sided game (Max 22) Roles of positions shall also be looked shared.

You can also participate on the chess ladder and may have the opportunity to represent the school in team matches against other schools. Students can learn and work on their strategies and thinking ability in both Western and Chinese chess and in backgammon. They can also play competitively against classmates.

Primary Swimming
Swimming club will help you develop your swimming skills. There will be different activities which will help you get faster and fitter in an enjoyable environment. You will also have the chance to represent the school in various swimming galas throughout the year.

I Robo *
This I Robo club will be run at our school by a Mr. Shin. It is a Korean Company who operates from PMH. It introduces robotics and mechanics to the students and is delivered as a 13 week course. Students well develop their construction skills and make a kitset. They will be allowed to select from a number of designs and will then become mechanics on a small scale.

This Kung Fu club is run at our school by a professional instructors working Ho Chi Minh City. Students well develop their basic Kung Fu moves and learn how to fight and train in this traditional form of martial art.

Depending on age and level of commitment, students achieve the Award at Bronze, Silver or Gold level.

Netball club will be help at a netball court close to school. Student will learn how to shot a goal, various passes and speedy footwork. You will participate in developing Netball Skills in preparation for Competitive matches against other Schools.

Olympic Handball
Olympic Handball is, as the name suggests, an Olympic sport which originates in Europe and is becoming increasingly popular throughout different parts of the World, including Asia. This is a non-contact game for girls and boys in which skills similar to those used in Netball and Basketball are used. Students taking part should improve their fitness, balance, agility, reaction speed and communication skills.

Secondary Green Team
The Green Team runs in both primary and secondary and is made up of a group of environmentally minded students who work together to make the school a greener and more environmentally friendly place’. Activities include growing plants, encouraging recycling, building bat boxes and bug hotels and reducing waste. The Green Team measures its success by applying for awards from Eco-schools, their website is a good source of additional information. Our ultimate goal is to understand how to coexist with nature and reduce the damage that we do to the environment. If you want to know more check out our board in the Reading Room.

Badminton Club
This Badminton club is a chance for sports lovers to enjoying a fast and exciting racket game in the gym.. Children can enjoy playing with friends and getting fit at the same time.

Sudoku
Students learn how to solve a variety of sudoku problems, individually and in groups ranging in levels of difficulty from easy to evil. Other puzzles such as kakuro and killer sudoku will also be available. End objective – to be able to solve sudoku and other number puzzles.

In Role Play the children will develop their drama skills . They will develop a sense of the importance of rules and the need to play fairly and co-operate in playing together. They will learn respect and sharing skills.
