At The ABCIS, our Upper Primary (Key Stage 2) students build upon the curriculum and related skills taught throughout Key Stage 1. Throughout the four years of teaching in Key Stage 2 we aim to develop well rounded and independent learners that will be able to succeed in their future studies in the Secondary school. We aim to broaden the children’s understanding of the world and encourage them to think in more abstract and critical ways. As the children progress through the key stage, they grow in maturity and personal responsibility, allowing them to have more understanding of their own and others’ needs. By the end of Key Stage 2, our pupils will be strong in character as well as knowledge and skills.
